Left swipe ashy toes. We all want smooth feet. Here is a technique that will make the process of getting them as easy as wiping away the dead, crusty skin on your feet. Yes… CRUSTY. Own it and enjoy this soothing soak.
Fill up your soaking basin so that your feet are completely covered. I like the hottest water I can stand, but you can judge which temperature suits you.
Add equal parts of apple cider vinegar and mouthwash. I use one cup of each. You can optionally add your favorite essential oil also. I like to add tee tree oil (use on your scalp for hair growth) to stimulate healing for cracked skin.
Soak your feet for at least 20 minutes – enough time to watch a few webisodes of RoomieLoverFriends on YouTube before popping your feet out for the next step. More soaking = more exfoliation.
Now all that crusty skin should wipe away with a bath towel. You can polish up any ragged spots with a pumice stone or foot file. While feet are still damp slather on lotion followed by shea butter. Side on some socks for overnight moisturizing, or proceed with your pedicure.
