Ostwald Helgason for Aldo

ALDO RISE, a program created by ALDO Shoes to provide a retail platform for up-and-coming fashion designers is at it again. London-based designers Susanne Ostwald and Ingva Helgason are the latest fashion house to team up with the budget-friendly shoe giant for a vibrant spring collection; which includes both footwear and handbags. A first for the program. The duo, best know for their prominent mixing of colors; which became a signature trademark to the brand is heavily reflected in this recent project . Undoubtedly, the creative team has certainly managed to perfect the art of color blocking and print mixing; a technique that is a favorite among many fashion lovers like myself. While details on pricing have yet to be released; the collection is scheduled to launch sometime this spring with expectations to fall well within range of ALDO’s budget-friendly price point. So, will you be checking for this collection at your local ALDO Shoes?

“We couldn’t really think of any designer that we wanted to work for, so we just decided to try it out ourselves.”
