Nails to Go

Falsies are my solution for times when I need to get my nails on fleek but time is short.

I recently tried imPress Manicure, which is available in virtually every drugstore in a variety of colors.  They’ve added a clever new feature: accent nails and embellishments.  Applying them was easy. They were thin and flexible – just how I like my falsies.  I even took it a step further and added a gold gradient, leopard print nail wrap and small rhinestones (that big pave heart was included in the kit!). Peep my quick YouTube tutorial (please “like” the video & “subscribe” to my channel too ^_^)

By the way, every Monday on all social media, I host Polished Mondays – a day to share your nail selfies, products you like, and styles you want to try.  Join in the conversation by tweeting/tagging/sending or messaging @doubleclicklife #PolishedMondays.

I also host a #PolishedMondays live video broadcast on Periscope every Monday at 9PM. I hope you’ll tune in and chat with me.

  1. Oh wow! They look great. I’ve always wondered how they would turn out. I might have to give falsies a try for special occasions.

Hi Lauren. Thank you much! When you do, feel free to send or tweet me a photo. I’d luv to see how it turns out 🙂

  2. Love the video! I need to try this! My nail are so jacked up! How long do they last?

Over the summer, I had a gorgeous acrylic set and I just couldn’t keep it up. So, I ripped (yes ripped) off the nails and now my nails look like I have a disease of some sort. It’s so embarrassing. 🙁 😛

      Hi Denise!
Thanks! With the tabs, they should last a few days. If you add brush on nail glue with the tabs, they’ll stay on for a week. I’ve totally been there with the ripping off of the old set! lol. These remove fairly easily.

I rarely get my nails done because the manicures don’t last unless they are gel or acrylic. I have been wanting to experiment with some more at home options that are fashionable and affordable, thanks for sharing.

      Hi Tia!
I know what you mean. I feel the same way. Please let me know if you try these or any other nail solutions. I’d luv to hear about your results.

    Hi Nikki,
I love the way the nails came out. You would spend a fortune at a nail salon for a job like this. Now I can do it myself at home. Thank you.
