MY CURL DIARY – Au Naturale Curl Defining Creme Glaze

Don’t you love making a new discovery? Don’t you feel good when you gamble on a new product and it delivers? I do. I’ve been familiar with Dark & Lovely’s Au Naturale line of products for some time. I’ve enjoyed using Coil Moisturizing Souffle as a moisturizer. I needed a mosturizing styler, so i decided to take the Curl Defining Creme Glaze for a spin. I’m glad I did.

After washing and conditioning my hair, I skipped the leave-in conditioner and used up the remaining scoops of my moisturizing souffle. Then I applied the creme glaze liberally – and I mean lib-er-al-LY. I finger combed it through 4 sections of my hair from root to tip. I sat under a hood for 20 minutes then scooped the quasi-dry hair into a pineapple for bed.

Can I just say that the softness was unbelievable? Okay then. The softness was unbelievable! It dried to just what I wanted.

I’ve been looking for a styling product that wasn’t crunchy and allowed my hair to plump but remain defined. This did it. I would recomend this product routine to any curlnista who wants that full, soft curly fro with definition. If you’re looking for frozen, smooth coils, there are other products which can get you there. I may try adding a little shea butter for weight and sealing at the end of the week. I want to see where this glaze takes my hair alone. I suspect it would also work on a fluffy twistout.

Opps. I almost forgot… Click here for my review of the lip color I’m wearing in this review – VS Pout Lip Stain.

I'd luv to hear from ya!
