Gotta top off my stop in Boston with a meal at iconic Legal Sea Foods.

Get the chowdah! You don’t have to say it like a native, but you do have to order it. I have such a tough time finding decent clam chowder outside of New England, so downing a hearty mug of chunks of potato and loads of clams is my priority.

Other faves are the fish & chips, crabcakes, and fried clams – to name a few.

Try the Boston Cream Pie. Legal’s version is a twist on the original. The creamy custard layer is the main act.

Legal Sea Foods had a bucket-load of locations. Each one had its own decor and vibe. When you’re in The Bean, just choose one.

Are you a Boston resident or guest foodie? What’s your favorite local seafood spot?
